2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The data is processed in IONOS SE data centres in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. Further information: IONOS privacy policy.

When you visit the website, the host automatically collects information transmitted by your browser in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, page/file accessed, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is not combined with other data sources.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, stably and without technical errors. The log files are deleted after 7 days unless they are required to investigate a security incident.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

4. Contacting us by email or phone

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Your data will be deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law periods) prevent this.

Our email mailbox is also provided by IONOS SE (address above).

5. Cookies, tracking and external services

This website does not set cookies and does not store or access any information on your device; consent pursuant to Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is therefore not required. We do not use any analytics or tracking services, social media plugins, external fonts or content delivery networks. All fonts and images are delivered from our own server.

6. Links to social networks

Our website links to our Instagram profile (provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). These are simple links; no plugins, data-transmitting buttons or embedded content are used. No data is therefore transmitted to Meta when you visit our website. Only when you click the link are you redirected to the provider’s platform, whose privacy terms then apply: Instagram privacy policy.

7. Job applications

If you apply to us (e.g. by email or post), we process your application data to carry out the application process on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) and Art. 88 GDPR. If no employment relationship results, the documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after the process has ended, unless you have consented to longer storage (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

8. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. If your data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object to this at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de).

To exercise your rights, simply send a message to mail@protectsecurityservice.de or write to the address given above.

9. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place.
